Platies are a peaceful community fish that come in a large range of colors and fin variations. The Mickey Mouse Platy usually comes in mixtures of blue, orange, red or yellow. This particular Platy has a black marking near the base of its body that resembles the shape of the head of the famous mouse. Their stunning colors and easy care level make Platies an enjoyable addition to the beginning aquarists tank. A well-planted tank with plenty of hiding spots is recommended. Platies prefer a degree of salinity in their water and adding a one teaspoon of aquarium salt per two gallons of water is recommended.
