Three Reasons Why You Should Toilet Train Your Dogs

If you happen to have seen the movie “Bruce Almighty,” you might find it hilarious how dogs could be able to stand upright and use the toilet to actually urinate. Well, being as impossible as it is, the whole potty training thing Jim Carrey was determined to do to his canine friend was actually quite possible.

If you happen to have your very own dog, you might find it to be a whole lot useful to get him to be trained to urinate or defecate. It is not the easiest of things to do, and it is certainly not something that dogs can learn overnight. You need to constantly train them and teach them what they should do. You don't have to train by example as that would be silly. But what you should do though is to try and facilitate or discipline them to be able to control their bowels and bladders.

1. So they wouldn't poop or pee all over the house

One thing that makes dog owners apprehensive about keeping their canine friends inside the house is the fact that they may loosen up their bowels anytime and anywhere they choose if they aren't trained well. That is the problem with dogs and if their masters don't really care about training them at all.

If you did have the time and patience on your hands to train your dog however, you might just actually be able to let them stay inside your home and if ever they would want to go and do their business like urinate or defecate, they would just pass through the doggy door and do their business in wherever it is you trained them to do their business.

2. So they could stay indoors, now wouldn't everybody love that

One thing that would make your kids happy is the fact that you would finally allow your dog to stay indoors and spend some time with you and your family without having to go to the backyard or to the park. So whether you are just watching TV, having breakfast or just hanging around in the living room, you can at least take comfort in the fact that you can get to spend whatever it is you are doing indoors.

For one thing, your dog would most definitely appreciate it. After all, being indoors would definitely be a whole lot more comfortable than staying outside all the time. And you need not worry about your dog missing doing things outdoors, because your dog would still be able to pass through the doggy door.

3. It would be easier to clean up after them, like seriously

If you had the chance to have one designated place for your dog to pile up his droppings, would you take it? Well most definitely right? That's because it would be a whole lot easier for you to clean up your home. And knowing that your dog would cooperate with you a whole lot better, it makes your job a lot easier and definitely faster.
